Ivaylo Slavov is the new chairman of the Bulgarian Outsourcing Association

BOA with new chairman and new Managing Board

Ivaylo Slavov, co-founder of Bulpros, is the new chairman of the Bulgarian Outsourcing Association. His appointment was voted upon by the new Managing Board at an extraordinary general meeting of the organization. The Board includes Maya Milanova, General Manager of Cargotec, and Plamen Tsekov, CEO of Scalefocus, who have been sitting on it during the last term as well. Besides Slavov the new members of the Board include Stefan Bumov, COO of HeleCloud and former chairman of BOA, and Ilia Krastev, CEO of A Data Pro.
Ivaylo is a highly qualified entrepreneur and corporate executive with more than 20 years of international experience both in developing start-up and established organizations.
Ivaylo Slavov co-founded BULPROS in April 2010 and for 8 years under his leadership the company grew at a very fast pace and continuously doubled its size, year over year. It is recognized as one of the fastest growing technology companies by the latest rankings from Deloitte "Technology Fast 50 in CE" and "Technology Fast 500 in Europe, Middle East, and Africa", Inc. 5000 Europe, Financial Times 1000 Europe etc.
In 2017 Ivaylo was recognized by Deloitte and Manager Magazine as one of the top 10 managers in Bulgaria. He was also selected as a member of the Board of Directors of American Chamber of Commerce in Bulgaria (AmCham).
“My main goal would be to contribute to the transformation of the Bulgarian Outsourcing Association into the voice of the outsourcing and technology sector when it comes to communicating with the government and the education system. I see an opportunity for the Association to turn into a regional industry leader in Southeastern Europe,” explained Mr. Slavov.
