Bulgarian Outsourcing Association Appoints New Chairman and New Board of Directors for Two-Year Mandate

Stanimir Nikolov is the new Chairman of the Board
Bulgarian Outsourcing Association (BOA) is delighed to announce the appointment of Stanimir Nikolov as the new Chairman of the Board.
 
Stanimir Nikolov has 20 years of management experience in the outsourcing business. He is a Director of EPAM Systems and has an experience in strategic consulting, process improvement, technological activation and outsourcing services.
 
„This appointment gives me the opportunity to achieve an important goal for the sector – together with the members of the association to contribute to the growth and development of Bulgarian outsourcing business and innovation”, said Stanimir Nikolov.
 
The members of BOA elected the new Board of Directors: Yordan Ginev – co-founder of Bulpros Consulting with 10 years of management experience in the outsourcing business; Maya Milanova – CEO and Operations Manager of Experian Bulgaria; Plamen Tsekov – co-founder and CEO of Scale Focus with long-term experience in IT sector, software development and outsourcing industry; and Julian Milev – CFO of TELUS International Europe with broad experience in the financial services industry as part of Citibank and investment banking group Entrea Capital.
 
BOA latest data shows that the outsourcing sector in Bulgaria employed over 46,000 at the end of 2016, as more than 26% of the industry workforce was employed by the member-companies of the association.
 
„In the next two years BOA will focus its efforts in three main development fields – investment in quality education as we are ready to support the authorities and the educational institutions in the development and preparing the young people in Bulgaria for the professions of the future; we will work for promoting Bulgaria not only as a leading business and outsourcing destination but will put our effort in fostering our country’s image as a good place to work and live for qualified professionals from around the world, and we will work for the expansion of the association in Southeastern Europe”, Stanimir Nikolov added.
