Bulgaria on its Way to Become the Digital Engine of Europe
SOFIA (Bulgaria), June 15, 2016 - Everest Group, the Research Partner of the Bulgarian Outsourcing Association will release on June 16 the viewpoint paper, "Bulgaria - The Digital Engine of Europe" on the occasion of the 3rd Annual Outsourcing Conference “The Industry of Acronyms”, to be held in Sofia, Bulgaria. Everest Group says that the customer-centric model is the foundation of Bulgaria’s strong position as a global services delivery center for both Information Technology and Business Process Services. The country’s success is due to skilled multilingual talent, attractive cost savings, cultural affinity with Western Europe, overlapping time zone and, last but not least, conducive operating and business environment.
Compared to Poland, Czech Republic, Slovakia and Hungary, Bulgaria is remarkable with its large share of U.S.-headquartered companies. Excluding Sofia, other locations emerging with high potential for more investments in the IT-BPS industry, include Plovdiv, Bourgas and Varna.
The whitepaper also sets the expectation of Bulgaria playing an important role as a Centre of Excellence in the digital agenda because of the high-caliber talent availability.
“We see a very promising future and stable growth path for Bulgaria as a global services delivery center,” stated Sarah, Burnett, VP, Everest Group. “As the more mature delivery locations become increasingly saturated, Bulgaria will gain importance, enabled by its many talent and economic benefits.”
More details on Bulgarian outsourcing landscape and business opportunities will be revealed on June, 16, 2016 during the 3rd Annual Outsourcing Conference.
